Rutherford Farms grows, processes, and sells pedigreed seed for the local retail market. We specialize in contract seed production and processing for large multinational seed companies.

We provide:

• Custom processing
• Custom blending
• Seed treating and inoculation for cereals and soybeans
• Storage of processed seed
• Custom drying

Our facility includes:

• A seed processing plant with a capacity of over 500 bu/hr for cleaning cereal grains, peas, and soybeans
• More than 100 storage bins with a total capacity of over 800,000 bushels
• Specialty bins equipped with bean ladders
• Conveyors designed to handle sensitive crops such as soybeans and peas
• A large crushed-rock yard that easily accommodates transport trucks and trailer
